What is TUIA 250?
Tuia 250 is coming to Picton in November this year.
The Tuia – Encounters 250 commemoration is a programme of events, education and over 50 projects nationwide. It celebrates Aotearoa New Zealand’s Pacific voyaging heritage and acknowledges the first onshore encounters between Māori and Pākehā in 1769–70.
